 The Digicome China derives from the “Communication Olympic Games” that has been called by people working for the communications industry. The Digicome China 2008 will be held in the year when the Olympic Games will be held in Beijing, therefore, it will not only reflect the “Quicker, higher and stronger” spirit of the Olympic Games, but also reflect the spirit of universal consumer participation. Digicome China has been held in Shenzhen for several times so it has exerted a great influence in south and east China, it has been highly appreciated by the industry and has become an important industrial exhibition of China. The past exhibitions were broadly supported by the industry, and averagely over 50,000 people visited an exhibition.

 Continuously, the Digicome China 2008 will be held concurrently with the “71st China Electronics Exhibition. The organizer of the two exhibitions are trying to perfectly combine the advantages of the exhibitions and enable them to achieve optimized results. The exhibitions will fully demonstrate the great glamour and developing future of the digital communications and IT industry. The organizer of the exhibitions will try to place the up-steam and down-stream technologies of the 3C industries of the communications, digital technology and IT as well as products of communications, IT digital technology, multimedia, content and operation therein on a same platform, and will try to let the high-quality digital communications become “One dream” of “One world”.  

 The 3C convergence reflects the combination of communications, IT and consumption electronic products and their functions, the content integration as well as the integration of designing/manufacturing chain therein, so as to bring about a consumption experience that is intimate to the public and to attain the broadly-established social ideal that whenever and wherever the digital communications exists. The 3C convergence is changing our daily life.

 The ultimate realization of the 3C convergence still depends on joint efforts made by such sectors as manufacturing, contents provision, operation and sales. The objective of the convergence is to satisfy requirements from consumers, to which, sectors in the industrial chain unanimously agree: The key factors for the digital technology and digital communications are the terminal that is intimate to the life of the public, the content that is good to hear or see and the exploration of consumer requirements.
Digicome China 2008 will be held in April 2008 in an area where digital communications is intensive for people’s life and where it will be the flower-blossoming spring that is the best season for procurement.

 China is one of the most important electronic manufacturing bases in the world. Depending on ubiquitous international and domestic sales channels, digital communications products that are designed, made and/or assembled in China have been sold well at every corner of the five continents.

 China’s Pearl River Delta and Pan-Pearl River Delta is an area where cities and towns are intensive, including some inland cities, Hong Kong and Macao; terminal equipment, accessory and component manufacturers intensive, consumer groups are intensive, international and domestic channels and windows are intensive as well as logistics industry is intensive. With these five sorts of intensiveness, it is really a hot place for intensive digital communications life.

 In this hot place, Digicome China 2008 wishes to attain the following goals: surrounding the three core factors of the terminal, content and consumer, to extend the whole industry chain including the designing and manufacturing of terminals and components, content provision, operation and sales through channels to the end user; to build up an exchange platform for international digital communications from the aspects of manufacturing, exporting and consumption; to let communications operators, terminal equipment and component manufactures and content suppliers exhibit their high-quality digital communications products and fully demonstrate the digital communications life; to enable sales exploring channels and brand publishing people to fully learn new products with their designing and accessories, and to let consumers experience the digital communications life that orients towards the future as much as they like.  

 Based on the past visitors database and relying on our current publicizing and advertising efforts through multimedia and special channels, a visiting population over 60,000 is expected for the Digicome China 2008 and the China Electronics Exhibition, who will include buyers and consumers who have requirements for buying digital communications products and/or are interested in the digital communications and IT technologies.

 Thanks to the partnership of the organizing committee and Hong Kong’s Trade Development Administration, through overseas trading channels of China’s electronics industry and by in-depth exploration of new overseas consumption channels and attraction of overseas buyers, it is convinced that the two exhibitions will attract many high-level visitors.

 The Digicome China 2008 is intended to enable final consumers to experience a high-quality digital communications life in the show center, and also intended to help manufacturers and consumers explore new requirements through public spreading media which have great influences.
